Royal Mail is seeking a Postie (Postal Delivery Driver) in Sherborne to deliver letters and parcels, working 37 hours per week on a rotating schedule that includes weekends. You will be trained, provided a uniform and a red Royal Mail van, and must be able to pass a driving assessment.

Qualifications

• Full manual UK driving licence required.
• Willingness to drive a Royal Mail van and pass a driving assessment.
• Physically fit and comfortable walking long distances, climbing stairs/hills, and lifting 10kg+ mailbags.
• Reliable and self-motivated with good organisational skills and resilience.
• Customer-focused with pride in delivering great service.
• Comfortable working outdoors and independently.

Responsibilities

• Sort letters and parcels at the delivery office.
• Deliver post by van and on foot in your local area.
• Build relationships with customers.
