Job summary

Royal Mail in London is seeking a Postie (Postal Delivery Driver) for a 6-month fixed-term contract. You will deliver letters and parcels by van and on foot, working a 37-hour week across shifts, including weekends, and you will operate outdoors in all weather. Full training and a uniform are provided.

Qualifications

• Full manual UK driving licence with up to 6 penalty points.
• Willingness to drive a Royal Mail van daily and pass a driving assessment.
• Physically fit and able to walk long distances, climb stairs/hills, and lift 10 kg+ mailbags.
• Reliable, self-motivated and able to work in a busy environment.
• Customer-focused with pride in delivering great service.
