Royal Mail is hiring a Postie (Postal Delivery Driver) for Poole Alder Hills Delivery Office. The role is a 6-month fixed-term contract. Salary is £13.68 per hour, paid monthly, with overtime available, across a 30-hour week on a 5 days in 7 pattern.

Rotating shifts include Monday to Sunday, with specific weekend hours and locations as outlined in the interview. You will sort and deliver letters and parcels, work in all weathers, and represent Royal Mail in the local community.

Qualifications

• A full UK driving licence required with no more than 6 penalty points.

Responsibilities

• Sort letters and parcels at the delivery office
• Deliver post by van and on foot in the local area
• Build relationships with customers
• Work outdoors in all weather conditions
