Job summary

Royal Mail Group is seeking a Postie (Postal Delivery Driver) in Bromley to deliver letters and parcels by van and on foot. You will work on a rotating schedule, including weekends, and the rota will confirm hours and routes.

Full training, a uniform, and an iconic red van are provided. The role demands physical activity, independence, and excellent customer service in all weather conditions.

Qualifications

• Full manual UK driving licence (max 6 penalty points)
• Willingness to drive a Royal Mail van and pass a driving assessment
• Physically fit and able to walk long distances, climb stairs/hills, and lift 10kg+ mailbags
• Reliable and self-motivated
• Strong organisation and resilience
• Customer-focused and pride in delivering great service
• Comfortable working outdoors and independently

Responsibilities

• Sort letters and parcels at the delivery office
• Deliver post by van and on foot in your local area
• Build relationships with customers
• Work outdoors in all weathers
