Job summary

Royal Mail is hiring a Postie (Postal Delivery Driver) in London. The role involves delivering letters and parcels, sorting at the delivery office, and building relationships with customers. Working 37 hours across 5 days in 7, with early starts and weekend work on a rotating schedule.

You must have a full manual UK driving licence (up to 6 penalty points) and be able to pass a driving assessment. The role requires physical fitness and the ability to work outdoors in all weather.

Qualifications

• Valid manual UK driving licence (no more than 6 penalty points).
• Willingness to drive a Royal Mail van daily and pass a driving assessment.
• Physically fit and able to walk long distances, climb stairs/hills, and lift/carry mailbags.
• Reliable and self-motivated.
