Royal Mail is seeking a Postie (Postal Delivery Driver) in Bolton for a fixed-term 9-month contract. The role requires delivering letters and parcels, working a 30-hour week on a rotating shift that includes weekends, and driving a Royal Mail van. You’ll be active outdoors and follow a rota that may change with demand.

You’ll build relationships with customers, work in all weather, and contribute to timely, reliable postal services across your route.

Qualifications

• A full manual UK driving licence (maximum 6 penalty points).
• Willingness to drive a Royal Mail van daily and pass a driving assessment.
• Physically fit and comfortable walking long distances, climbing stairs/hills, and lifting 10kg+ mailbags.
• Reliable and self-motivated with strong organisation and resilience.
• Customer-focused, with pride in delivering great service.
• Comfortable working outdoors and independently.
