Job summary

Royal Mail in Bolton is seeking Post Person with Driving to join our team on a temporary basis. You will deliver letters and parcels across your local area, mainly by van, with some walking on foot as part of your route.

A full manual UK driving licence is required, along with the stamina to walk up to 20,000 steps daily and lift mail bags up to 16kg. Shifts vary, and flexibility is essential to cover peak periods.

Qualifications

• Full, manual UK driving licence with no more than 6 points.
• Be prepared to walk 20,000 steps a day, get in and out of your van regularly, and carry a mailbag weighing up to 16kg.
• Shifts can vary, so we need team players who can adapt at short notice.

Responsibilities

• Deliver letters and parcels on your route, driving a Royal Mail van and delivering items come rain or shine.
• Securely deliver all items on your route, handling election materials and certain items in line with Royal Mail standards.
