Job summary

Royal Mail Group in Knutsford is seeking a Postie (Delivery Driver) on a fixed-term 9-month contract. You’ll sort and deliver letters and parcels, build relationships with customers, and work outdoors in all weather on a rotating schedule, including weekends.

Training is provided and you’ll be supported by a reliable team. Pay is £13.68 per hour (paid monthly) plus overtime; 30 hours per week across 4–5 days.

Qualifications

• Full UK manual driving licence required.
• Ability to drive a Royal Mail van daily.
• Physically fit and able to walk long distances, climb stairs and hills.
• Reliable and self-motivated.
• Customer-focused with pride in delivering great service.
• Strong organisation and resilience in a busy environment.

Responsibilities

• Sort letters and parcels at the delivery office.
• Deliver post by van and on foot in your local area.
• Build relationships with customers.
