Job summary

Royal Mail Group in Sutton is seeking a Postie (Postal Delivery Driver) for a fixed-term six-month contract. You will deliver letters and parcels in Sutton, join a rotating shift, and work 30 hours per week across Monday to Sunday, with overtime available.

Expect to walk long distances, drive a Royal Mail van, and deliver with care in all weather. Full training and a uniform are provided, and Sundays are required at Sutton Delivery Office.

Qualifications

• Candidate must hold a full manual UK driving licence and be willing to drive a Royal Mail van.
• Physically fit to walk long distances and deliver outdoors in all weathers.
• Reliable, self-motivated and customer-focused in a busy environment.

Responsibilities

• Sort letters and parcels at the delivery office.
• Deliver post by van and on foot in the local area.
• Build relationships with customers and deliver with care.
