Job summary

Royal Mail is seeking a Post Person with Driving to deliver letters and parcels in your local community. You will drive a Royal Mail delivery van and also complete parts of your route on foot, providing excellent service and ensuring items reach their destination safely.

This role requires walking up to 20,000 steps daily, handling a mailbag up to 16kg, and adapting to varying shifts. A driving assessment is required at start, and you’ll join a team dedicated to reliable, everyday neighbourhood

Qualifications

• Full, manual UK driving licence with no more than 6 points.
• Be prepared to walk 20,000 steps a day and carry a mailbag up to 16kg.
• Shifts can vary; you must adapt at short notice.

Responsibilities

• Deliver letters and parcels as the face of Royal Mail in your community.
• Drive the Royal Mail delivery van around your area and complete parts of the route on foot.
• Securely deliver all items on your route, including election materials and restricted items, following Royal Mail standards.
• Be prepared to pass a driving assessment when you start.
