Job summary

Royal Mail is seeking enthusiastic individuals to join as flexible postal delivery drivers. The role combines driving a Royal Mail van with on-foot delivery along routes, delivering letters and parcels in the community.

You will be the face of Royal Mail in your area, work outdoors, and pass a driving assessment at start. Guaranteed hours and shift-based pay rates apply, with opportunities for permanent status.

Qualifications

• Full, manual UK driving licence with no more than 6 points.
• Be prepared to walk extensive distances and lift/mail bags up to 16kg.
• Shifts can vary; must be able to adapt at short notice.

Responsibilities

• Deliver letters and parcels as part of Royal Mail rounds, on foot and in a van.
• Drive the delivery route and ensure secure, on-time delivery.
• Handle election materials and other items in line with Royal Mail standards.
