Job summary

Royal Mail requires enthusiastic individuals to join as flexible delivery drivers, working on a temporary basis via Angard Recruitment. You will drive a Royal Mail van on your route, deliver letters and parcels, and stay active throughout shifts in all weather conditions.

Key attributes include a full UK driving licence, the ability to walk long distances with a mailbag, and flexibility to work varied shifts. A driving assessment may be required on start.

Qualifications

• Full, manual UK driving licence with no more than 6 points.
• Ability to walk ~20,000 steps per day and lift a mailbag up to 16kg.
• Flexible shifts and ability to adapt at short notice.

Responsibilities

• Deliver letters and parcels on designated routes.
• Drive Royal Mail van and occasionally walk parts of the route.
• Ensure items are delivered securely in all weather conditions.
