Job summary

Angard Staffing Solutions Ltd, on behalf of Royal Mail, is hiring flexible (temporary) postal delivery drivers in the UK. You will drive a Royal Mail van and deliver letters and parcels across your area, with a mix of walking and driving, and you’ll be the face of the service in your community.

Shifts vary and you must be physically fit, able to walk long distances, and have a full UK manual driving licence with up to six points. A driving assessment is required on start.

Qualifications

• Full manual UK driving licence with no more than 6 points.
• Be prepared to walk 20,000 steps a day, get in and out of your van regularly, and carry a mailbag weighing up to 16kg.
• Shifts can vary; you must be able to adapt at short notice.

Responsibilities

• Deliver letters and parcels along your round and to nearby streets.
• Drive a Royal Mail van and occasionally walk parts of your route to complete deliveries.
• Ensure all items reach their destination safely and securely, following Royal Mail standards.
