Job summary

Royal Mail is seeking enthusiastic individuals to join us as flexible (temporary) postal delivery drivers. You’ll be the face of Royal Mail in your community, delivering letters and parcels come rain or shine, with a mix of walking and driving.

Roles offer varied shifts with competitive hourly pay and a chance for permanent opportunities. You’ll gain training and a driving assessment on start.

Qualifications

• Full, manual UK driving licence with no more than 6 points.
• Physical fitness to walk 20,000 steps a day and carry a mailbag up to 16 kg.
• Flexibility to work varying shifts and adapt at short notice.

Responsibilities

• Deliver letters and parcels across your route, assisting on foot when needed.
• Safely deliver all items on your route and handle election materials in line with standards.
• Provide exceptional service and be the face of Royal Mail in your community.
