Job summary

Royal Mail is seeking enthusiastic individuals to join as flexible (temporary) postal delivery drivers. As a Post Person with Driving, you’ll be the face of Royal Mail in your community, delivering letters and parcels come rain or shine.

You’ll drive a Royal Mail van around your delivery area, complete parts of your route on foot, and stay active while handling items securely. A driving assessment will be required when you start.

Qualifications

• Full, manual UK driving licence with no more than 6 points.
• Be prepared to walk 20,000 steps a day, carry a mailbag up to 16kg.
• Shifts can vary; we need flexible team players.

Responsibilities

• Deliver letters and parcels as a Post Person with Driving, in your community, come rain or shine.
• Drive a Royal Mail van around your delivery area, and complete parts of your route on foot while providing exceptional service.
