Job summary

Dimensions in Radstock is seeking a dedicated Support Worker to provide 1:1 and daily 2:1 support for a gentleman in his 30s with autism and learning disabilities. This is an on-site, full-time permanent role rooted in building trust and a consistent routine.

The role includes personal care, meal preparation, administering medication, and supporting him to enjoy outings and activities, while collaborating closely with his family to ensure seamless, respectful care.

• Experience is not essential, but a willingness to learn and commitment to supporting people well are essential.

Responsibilities

• Support with personal care and daily routines.
• Meal preparation and encouraging healthy eating.
• Administering medication.
• Supporting sensory needs and routines.
• Following Positive Behaviour Support guidance.
• Supporting an active lifestyle and activities important to the individual.
• Working closely with family members and colleagues to provide consistent support.
