Job summary

Agincare Group is seeking a caring and reliable Support Worker to join our Dorset Outreach team in Shaftesbury, Dorset, to support two adults with autism and learning disabilities to live safely and happily in their own home and in the community.

You will be part of a small, consistent team delivering 2:1 support, helping them build confidence, try new activities, and connect with social groups so they can live fuller, more meaningful lives.

Qualifications

• Experience with learning disabilities is desirable but not essential.
• Calm, patient and reliable approach to support.
• Ability to follow detailed support plans and communication strategies.

Responsibilities

• Support two adults with autism and learning disabilities in their home and community.
• Help build confidence and enable participation in activities and social groups.
• Record shifts and communicate with line manager; follow care plans.
