Job summary

Cygnet Health Care is seeking an Acting Team Leader at Dene Brook, a specialist residential service for people with learning disabilities, complex needs and autism. The role covers day-to-day running, supervision and administrative duties, with emphasis on medical and welfare support.

The position is full-time (42 hours/week) on 12-hour day shifts with a rolling two-week rota. An enhanced DBS check is required, with opportunities for development and career progression within the service.

Responsibilities

• Provide enhanced care using a flexible learning approach for everyone in the service
• Give guidance and encouragement through physical and emotional support
• Learn each individual's specific needs and support them in the most appropriate way
• Help with medical and welfare needs and report as required
• Support management in the day-to-day running of the service
• Carry out supervisory and administrative responsibilities
• Safeguard the people in the service
• Maintain a safe and clean environment for everyone
