Job summary

AmBience Healthcare Ltd is recruiting an Acting Senior Support Worker (Stand-In Senior) in Rotherham to support the team and uphold high standards of person-centred care.

You will monitor service delivery to meet statutory requirements, develop and maintain person-centred care, and help enhance team performance while maintaining a safe and effective working environment.

The role offers induction, ongoing supervision and training opportunities within a caring, committed team.

Qualifications

• Minimum Level 3 NVQ in Health and Social Care or equivalent.
• At least two years of supervisory experience in a relevant care setting in the past five years.
• At least two years' experience supporting people with Autism and challenging behaviour.

About the Role

We are looking to recruit an Acting Senior Support Worker (Stand-In Senior).

Our Support Workers are often given the opportunity to take on additional responsibilities. The acting senior role provides the experience and confidence needed to prepare for progression into a permanent Senior Support Worker position.

The post holder will actively support the team, monitor service delivery to ensure it meets statutory and regulatory requirements, and develop and maintain person-centred care for our service users. They will also help enhance team performance, encourage constructive feedback and maintain a safe and effective working environment.

What We Need

• A minimum Level 3 NVQ in Health and Social Care, or equivalent.
• At least two years of significant supervisory experience in a relevant care setting within the past five years.
• At least two years' experience supporting people with Autism and challenging behaviour.
