Newman School in Yorkshire is seeking an Achievement Support Assistant to support students in and out of the classroom, helping them access the curriculum and make progress.

39 weeks per year
32.5 hours per week (term time plus 5 training days)

Newman School is seeking to appoint a dedicated Achievement Support Assistant to join our committed team of staff. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with children, is flexible, and is enthusiastic about supporting students' learning and well-being.
The school is a split site (Dinnington and Whiston), and although the role will be based primarily at one site, there is the expectation the role may work between the sites when needed.
As an Achievement Support Assistant, you will work closely with class teachers and other staff to support students in and out of the classroom, helping them to overcome barriers to learning. You’ll provide both one-to-one and small group support, ensuring every child can access the curriculum and make good progress.
