Job summary

Artemis Human Capital is partnering with a growing accountancy practice to recruit an Accounts Technician. This full-time role covers accounts preparation, tax returns and audit support for a diverse client base.

You will join a friendly team of around 15, working on varied portfolios across sectors, acting as a main point of contact and delivering high-quality service with attention to detail and deadlines.

Qualifications

• IATI Qualified, part-qualified ACA/ACCA or equivalent, or qualified by experience.
• Experience in a small/medium accountancy practice.
• Strong accounts prep experience for companies and sole traders.
• Audit experience would be desirable.
• Proficient with Sage, Xero or similar accounting software.
• Strong communication and client management skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Prepare accounts for limited companies, sole traders and partnerships.
• Prepare and submit corporation tax and personal tax returns.
• Assist with audit assignments from planning through to completion.
• Work with a varied portfolio of clients across different sectors.
• Act as a key point of contact for clients.
• Provide general accounting and business advice to clients.
• Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulations.

Who We’re Looking For
