Job summary

An established and growing accountancy practice is recruiting a Part-Qualified Accountant for their team. This full-time, permanent role offers a varied workload across accounts preparation, taxation, audit and client management, with a friendly team of about 15.

You’ll handle a diverse client portfolio and play a key part in delivering high-quality accounting services. The ideal candidate is IATI qualified or part-qualified ACA/ACCA, or qualified by experience, with SME practice experience and

Responsibilities

• Prepare accounts for limited companies, sole traders and partnerships.
• Prepare and submit corporation tax and personal tax returns.
• Assist with audit assignments from planning through to completion.
• Work with a varied portfolio of clients across different sectors.
• Act as a key point of contact for clients.
• Provide general accounting and business advice to clients.
• Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulations.
• Support the wider team with general accounting and practice-based activities.

We are delighted to be partnering with an established and growing accountancy practice to recruit a Part-Qualified Accountant for their team.

This is a full-time, permanent opportunity within a friendly team of around 15, offering a varied role across accounts preparation, taxation, audit and client management. You’ll work with a diverse portfolio of clients and play an important role in delivering a high-quality accounting service.

• Prepare accounts for limited companies, sole traders and partnerships

Who We’re Looking For

• IATI Qualified, part-qualified ACA/ACCA or equivalent, or qualified by experience
• Previous experience within a small or medium-sized accountancy practice
• Strong experience in accounts preparation for companies and sole traders
• Audit experience would be desirable
• Good working knowledge of accounting software, including Sage, Xero or similar
• Strong communication and client management skills
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
