Michael Page Finance in Newport is seeking an experienced Accounts Senior to handle a varied portfolio across small businesses, sole traders and partnerships. You will work closely with directors and progress towards Client Manager while delivering accounts and tax work in a modern practice.

The role emphasizes client management, knowledge of cloud platforms (Sage, Xero, QuickBooks) and a proactive approach to delivering high-quality service to clients across Wales and the South West.

Qualifications

• Experience in an accountancy practice and accounts preparation.
• Strong tax compliance knowledge for various client types.
• Ability to manage client relationships and growing portfolios.

Responsabilités

• Prepare accounts for limited companies, sole traders and partnerships.
• Prepare Corporation Tax and Income Tax returns.
• Assist with bookkeeping and maintain accurate records.
• Support clients with day-to-day accounting queries.
• Develop client relationships and portfolio management.
