A small independent firm based in West Yorkshire experiencing organic growth.

Job Description

• Accounts preparation from both incomplete records and computerised records
• Company and personal tax return preparation
• Liaising with clients on all accounting matters
• VAT return / Bookkeeping assistance during busy periods
• Reviewing work of other employees
• New client setup
• Experience of CCH is an advantage but not essential
• Preparation of statutory accounts and corporation tax returns
• Preparation of management accounts is advantageous
• Personal tax, VAT experience would be advantageous but not part of daily role - to assist during busy periods if needed

The Successful Applicant

A successful 'Accounts Senior' should have:

• A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Knowledge & proficiency in Sage, Xero, QuickBooks, or FreeAgent desired
• Strong numerical and analytical skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• The ability to work independently and support junior team members
