As a major supplier to the UK Off Trade, we aim to expand our distribution further, supported by strong brands and talented personnel. We are now seeking a candidate to support this growth, joining a team dedicated to development and success.

Role Summary

This position involves managing several Key UK Accounts, both existing and new, working within the UK team and the wider EMEA Business Unit. The role is crucial in driving our UK sales strategy to meet and surpass annual sales forecasts, expense budgets, and profitability targets.

Duties and Responsibilities
  1. Build and develop WX Brands and Grupo Penaflor wine brands within specific UK retailers, targeting Own Label and Tertiary opportunities to meet customer needs and company targets.
  2. Collaborate with Logistics, Marketing, and Finance teams to ensure successful and profitable long-term sales.
  3. Develop and maintain positive relationships with key and new accounts, providing excellent customer service.
  4. Coordinate with customers and internal teams to deliver promotional plans that promote our brands and support retailer needs.
  5. Forecast all products in your portfolio monthly and annually using our internal forecasting process.
  6. Represent our business as an ambassador, working within a high-achieving team to pursue success.
Skills and Experience
  • At least one year in a similar role.
  • Thorough knowledge of the UK Wine Market, with experience in the UK Grocery and/or Wholesale Sector.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Effective time management, capable of working under pressure and meeting deadlines.
  • Initiative-driven with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Team player and quick learner.
  • Proficient in Excel and PowerPoint.
  • WSET qualifications are preferred but not essential; a passion for wine is required.
  • Proactive with strong problem-solving skills.
  • Able to prioritize long-term projects while managing short-term demands.
  • Ability to manage and exceed customer expectations, both internally and externally.
Additional Information

This role is home-based, with some domestic and international travel required. Regular visits to customers, attendance at trade fairs, and team meetings at UK and Madrid offices are expected.
