Responsibilities

• Preparing and reviewing year-end accounts for sole traders, partnerships and limited companies.
• Preparing personal and corporate tax returns.
• Completing VAT returns and bookkeeping assignments where required.
• Managing a portfolio of clients and acting as a key point of contact for their accounting and taxation requirements.
• Building strong, long-term relationships with clients and providing practical advice and support.
• Supporting and mentoring junior members of the team.
• Working closely with Managers and Partners to ensure assignments are completed accurately and within deadlines.

As Accounts Senior, your responsibilities will include:

• Preparing and reviewing year-end accounts for sole traders, partnerships and limited companies
• Preparing personal and corporate tax returns
• Completing VAT returns and bookkeeping assignments where required
• Managing a portfolio of clients and acting as a key point of contact for their accounting and taxation requirements
• Building strong, long-term relationships with clients and providing practical advice and support
• Supporting and mentoring junior members of the team
• Working closely with Managers and Partners to ensure assignments are completed accurately and within agreed deadlines

The successful Accounts Senior will:

Have previous experience working within an accountancy practice and be confident across accounts preparation and taxation work.

ACA or ACCA qualifications would be advantageous, although applications are welcomed from part-qualified and qualified-by-experience candidates with the right level of accountancy practice experience.

You’ll be an excellent communicator, well organised and comfortable managing a varied workload whilst delivering a high standard of client service.
