Job summary

Trial Balance, a Newquay-based accountancy practice, is seeking an Accounts Semi Senior to join their growing team. You will assist in preparing year-end accounts for sole traders, partnerships and limited companies, and help with personal and corporate tax returns.

You'll also handle VAT returns, bookkeeping tasks and build strong client relationships while supporting more senior staff. AAT qualification is beneficial, but experienced candidates are welcome.

Qualifications

• Assist in the preparation of year-end accounts for varied clients (sole traders, partnerships, limited companies).
• Assist with personal and corporate tax returns.
• Complete VAT returns and bookkeeping assignments.

Responsibilities

• Build relationships with clients and respond to day-to-day queries.
• Support more senior team members with accounting assignments.
• Continue to develop technical knowledge through training and practical experience.

An increase in demand for their services has led to a new vacancy for an Accounts Semi Seniorto join, in what is a really exciting time for the business.

The main duties of this Accounts Semi Senior position will include:

• Assisting in the preparation of year-end accounts for a varied portfolio of sole traders, partnerships and limited companies
• Assisting with the preparation of personal and corporate tax returns
• Completing VAT returns and bookkeeping assignments
• Building positive relationships with clients and responding to day-to-day queries
• Supporting more senior members of the team with a range of accounting assignments
• Continuing to develop technical knowledge through training and practical experience

This role would be a great fit for an accountantwith recent experience gainedin an accountancypractice environment.

Whilst part or full AAT qualificationwould be highly beneficial, applications are welcomed from candidates who are qualified by experience.
