Job summary

Clark Wood are working with a forward-thinking accountancy firm based in Chester to recruit an Accounts Semi Senior. This role is suited to a part-qualified ACA/ACCA accountant with practice experience who wants to develop their skills, build client relationships and progress their career.

You will prepare year-end and management accounts, conduct corporation and personal tax computations, provide tax planning and business advice, and support clients with Xero.

Qualifications

• Part-qualified ACA/ACCA with practice experience is required.
• Candidates should be able to communicate effectively with clients.
• Ambition and drive to progress within the firm are important.

Responsibilities

• Prepare year-end accounts and management accounts.
• Carry out corporation tax and personal tax computations.
• Provide tax planning and business advice to clients.
• Build strong relationships with clients and coach junior staff.
• Assist clients with Xero and related accounting tasks.

The Role

• Providing tax planning and business advice.
• Building strong client relationships.
• Supporting clients with Xero.
• Coaching and developing junior team members.

About You

• Part-qualified or studying towards ACA/ACCA.
• Previous accountancy practice experience.
• Strong communication and client-facing skills.
• Tech-savvy; CCH experience desirable.
• Ambitious, driven and keen to progress.
