Job summary

Workforce Staffing in Cannock is seeking two experienced Accounts Semi Seniors to join our office. You will prepare statutory and management accounts, and build strong client relationships while working with senior team members to develop your technical skills.

Applicants should have approximately five years of practice experience, ACCA qualification or nearing completion, and strong knowledge of Xero and Sage. Excellent communication and organisational skills are a must.

Qualifications

• Five years' experience in an accountancy practice or equivalent.
• ACCA qualification or nearing completion required or considered.
• Strong knowledge of Xero and Sage with excellent client service skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare statutory accounts for a range of clients.
• Assist with management accounts preparation.
• Prepare VAT returns and support bookkeeping activities.
• Liaise with clients to resolve queries and provide excellent service.
• Support senior accountants and managers with client assignments.
• Ensure work is completed accurately and within deadlines.
• Use cloud accounting software to maintain and process financial information.

The Role

Key Responsibilities

• Preparing statutory accounts for a range of clients.
• Assisting with the preparation of management accounts.

About You
