The Royal College of Physicians is seeking an Accounts Receivable Officer to ensure accurate recording of income and timely collection from debtors. You will process debtor payments, support cash flow, and provide AR services to the Federation of the Royal Colleges of Physicians in the UK within agreed service levels.

You will lead credit control, manage aged debt reporting, assist with month-end close, and contribute to maintaining SOPs and audit documentation, while ensuring GDPR compliance

Qualifications

• AAT qualification or CICM part-qualified.
• GCSEs in Maths and English or equivalent.
• Two years’ accounts receivable experience in a large organisation.
• Strong Excel skills; knowledge of Business Central desirable.
• Experience producing financial reports for finance and non-finance colleagues.
• Good prioritisation and deadline management.

Responsabilités

• Process sales invoices and credit notes with VAT accounted.
• Issue invoices to correct processing teams.
• Lead credit control and prompt debt collection.
• Maintain records of collection activity and correspondence.
• Allocate receipts with Treasury and update debtor accounts.
• Issue monthly statements to debtors.
• Produce monthly KPI reports and aged debt analyses.
• Prepare working papers for statutory accounts.
• Support Meetings and Events invoicing and debt reviews.
• Meet month-end deadlines and proper period allocations.
• Provide financial information and ad hoc analysis.
• Comply with Health and Safety and equal opportunities policies.
