Royal College of Physicians in Liverpool is seeking an Accounts Receivable Officer to ensure accurate recording of income and timely collection from debtors. You will process payments, maintain debtor records, and support cash flow with effective debt collection across the federation.

The role requires at least two years in accounts receivable, strong Excel skills, and experience with reporting for finance teams.

Competenze

• AAT qualified, CICM part-qualified or equivalent.
• GCSE Maths and English at minimum.
• At least two years’ accounts receivable experience in a large organisation.
• Strong Excel skills; MS Business Central experience desirable.
• Knowledge of double-entry bookkeeping desirable.
• Experience producing reports for finance and non-finance colleagues.
• Ability to prioritise workloads and meet deadlines.
• Confident communicator with good relationships with customers and managers.
• Understanding of GDPR and secure handling of sensitive financial data.

Mansioni

• Process sales invoices and credit notes with VAT accounting.
• Issue invoices to correct processing teams.
• Lead credit control and collect debts promptly.
• Maintain accurate records of collection activity and correspondence.
• Allocate receipts and update debtor accounts with Treasury.
• Issue monthly statements to debtors.
• Produce monthly KPI and aged debt reports.
• Manage shared mailboxes and respond to queries.
• Support Meetings and Events invoicing and debt reviews.
• Meet month-end deadlines for invoices and cash allocations.
• Provide audit information and prepare working papers for statutory accounts.
