Job summary

Qualifications

• Manage a portfolio of non-NHS debtor accounts and ensure prompt cash collection.
• Pursue debt over 30 days by contacting debtors for payment.
• Update the sales ledger with notes detailing contacts and outcomes.
• Prepare weekly AR reports detailing arrears status and progress.

Responsibilities

• Liaise with service managers to address collection difficulties and discuss credit control measures.
• Coordinate with external debt collection agencies and solicitors for arrears recovery.
• Monitor and respond to messages on team voicemail and email.
• Keep Treasury Officer updated on expected receipts and cash forecast changes.
• Provide cover for absent team members to maintain full service.
