Job summary

Investigo is seeking an Accounts Assistant to join a busy finance team in Bedford. This role will primarily support the Accounts Receivable function, ensuring accurate and timely processing of customer accounts, cash collection activities, and month-end requirements.

The successful candidate will be comfortable communicating with customers, resolving account queries, and supporting continuous improvement across finance processes.

Qualifications

• Experience in Accounts Receivable, Credit Control, or similar finance role.
• Strong numerical and analytical abilities.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to manage workload and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Proactively manage outstanding customer debt and contact customers regarding overdue payments.
• Raise and process customer invoices, credit notes, and related documentation.
• Process customer credit applications and maintain AR records.
• Complete Accounts Receivable administration and reporting.
• Monitor customer credit limits and support risk management activities.
