Job summary

Bridgewater UK, a growing distribution business, seeks an Accounts Receivable Administrator to join their Middlesbrough office. You will help manage customer accounts, support the wider team with administrative duties and maintain a positive, productive working environment.

You will work 27.5 hours per week with a starting salary of around £21,000, pro rata based on a £30,500 full-time salary. The role offers mentoring, exposure to a busy renewables division, and a supportive team culture.

Qualifications

• Experience in accounts receivable, credit control, or similar admin role.
• Good Microsoft Office skills, especially Excel and Outlook.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Confident written and verbal communication.
• Professional and friendly telephone manner.

Responsibilities

• Support sales and management with administrative tasks.
• Maintain organised records, documents, and files.
• Raise invoices and handle invoice queries.
• Monitor customer accounts and collect outstanding payments by phone and email.
• Communicate with different departments across the business.
• Use Excel and internal systems to maintain account information.
