Recruitment Solutions (North West) Ltd is seeking an experienced Accounts & Operations Assistant to join our Finance team. The role blends accounting with day-to-day operational and office support to keep processes running smoothly.

Working with the Group Accountant, you will handle month-end journals, invoicing, payroll support, and financial reporting, while maintaining strict confidentiality and high accuracy across tasks.

Qualifications

• Experience in an accounts or finance environment with strong organisational skills.
• Proficient in Excel including formulas and data analysis.
• Knowledge of double-entry bookkeeping and accrual accounting.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and post month-end journals, accruals and prepayments.
• Support financial reporting and Excel data analysis.
• Process petty cash and assist with audits.
• Check daily/monthly sales data and prepare tenant recharges.
• Assist payroll administration incl. timesheets and absences.
• Review import invoices and customs documents.
• Manage office supplies and facilities coordination.
