Job summary

Morgan McKinley is seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Team Lead to oversee the AP function for a Horsham-based company. Hybrid working arrangement with parking onsite.

You will supervise end-to-end supplier invoice processing, manage payment runs, support month-end, liaise with suppliers and perform daily bank reconciliations. A strong Excel skill set and ERP experience are essential.

Qualifications

• Proven AP experience in a team lead role.
• Strong Excel skills with pivot tables and VLOOKUP.
• Experience with ERP systems such as Dynamics, NetSuite or Access Dimensions.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and supervise the AP function and team.
• Manage end-to-end supplier invoice processing.
• Oversee payment runs and ensure timely payments.
• Support month-end close activities.
• Liaise with suppliers to resolve queries and discrepancies.
• Perform daily bank reconciliations.
• Identify and implement improvements to AP processes.

Morgan McKinley is looking for an experienced Accounts Payable Team Lead to work for a company based in the Horsham, West Sussex area. The AP Team Lead will be overseeing the AP function and team.

Location: Hybrid working - Horsham, West Sussex. Parking onsite

Hours: 8.30-4.30 / 9-5 Mon-Fri

AP Team Lead duties:

• Monitoring and supervising the AP function and team
• Manage end-to-end supplier invoice processing
• Payment runs
• Supporting with month-end
• Liaising with suppliers
• Daily bank reconciliations
• Looking at the current AP processes and making suggestions for improvements

Skills and experience:

• Proven AP experience working in a similar Accounts Payable Team Lead type role
• Good IT skills, including Excel - pivot tables / v-look up etc
• Ideally have used systems such as Dynamics / NetSuite / Access Dimension
