You will manage the end-to-end purchase ledger, maintain controls, support month-end and year-end processes, and drive process improvements while building strong supplier relationships and ensuring timely invoice processing.

Responsibilities

• Lead, motivate and develop a team of six Accounts Payable professionals.
• Oversee end-to-end purchase ledger processing to ensure invoices are accurate and timely.
• Manage supplier relationships and resolve queries and account issues.
• Plan workloads, priorities and deadlines across the team.
• Maintain accounts payable controls, policies and procedures.
• Ensure month-end requirements are completed, including reconciliations and accruals.
• Support year-end audit requirements and provide information as required.
• Prepare accounts payable management information and KPIs.
• Collaborate with operational teams to ensure compliance with processes.
• Lead process improvements, system enhancements and automation initiatives.

Accounts Payable Manager - About The Role

In this role you will be reporting into the Finance Manager and will be managing an Accounts Payable team of 6. Your key responsibilities will be:

• Lead, motivate and develop a team of six Accounts Payable professionals.
• Oversee the end-to-end purchase ledger process, ensuring invoices are processed accurately and on time.
• Manage supplier relationships and ensure queries and account issues are resolved effectively.
• Plan and monitor workloads, priorities and deadlines across the team.
• Maintain strong accounts payable controls, policies and procedures.
• Ensure month-end requirements are completed accurately, including reconciliations, accruals and reporting.
