Job summary

New Appointments Group is recruiting an Accounts Payable Processor in Daventry to join a busy team on a temporary basis for 6 months. The role offers hybrid working (2 days at home) and a 37.5-hour week from 8am to 4pm.

Responsibilities include manual matching for direct/indirect purchases, handling supplier queries, reconciliations, and maintaining SOX compliance. The ideal candidate has general accounts payable and administration experience and is able to support projects and process

Qualifications

• General accounts payable and administration experience.

Responsibilities

• Completing manual matching for direct/indirect purchases into financial systems.
• Escalate all queries for resolution.
• Investigate aged invoice queries on an accounts payable system.
• Deal with internal/external customer queries relating to invoices/payments and maintain relationships.
• Deal with telephone and email correspondence relating to supplier payments.
• Complete supplier statement reconciliations.
• Ensure SOX documentation is followed and all work instructions are maintained.
• Ensure SLAs and targets are met.
• Support projects, testing and improvements.
