Investigo is partnering with a growing business to appoint an experienced Accounts Payable Manager to lead a high-performing team and own the AP function during a period of growth and transformation. We are exclusively partnering with a growing and ambitious business seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Manager to lead a high-performing team and take ownership of the AP function during an exciting period of growth and transformation.

• Salary - £50,000 to £55,000 + bonus

The Opportunity

As Accounts Payable Manager, you will oversee the day-to-day running of the Accounts Payable function, ensuring supplier payments are processed accurately and on time while maintaining strong financial controls. Managing a team of Accounts Payable professionals, you'll provide leadership, coaching, and development to ensure service levels, controls, and performance targets are consistently achieved.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead, develop and motivate a team of Accounts Payable professionals
• Manage team workload, priorities, and performance to ensure deadlines are met
• Conduct regular 1:1s, coaching sessions, and performance reviews
• Oversee the accurate and timely processing of supplier invoices
• Ensure strong financial controls are maintained across the AP function
• Manage supplier payment runs and cash flow requirements
• Act as the escalation point for supplier and internal stakeholder queries
• Review supplier statement reconciliations and resolve discrepanciesMonitor AP ledger integrity, including debit balances and unallocated payments
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives and identify opportunities to streamline processes
• Partner with key stakeholders across Finance and Operations to enhance procedures and controls
