Job summary

Resourcery Group are recruiting an experienced Accounts Payable Manager to join our Runcorn-based finance team. This hands-on role owns the Accounts Payable and cost ledger, with involvement in an ERP transformation and cost control initiatives.

You will manage high-volume invoice processing, 3-way matching, supplier relationships, and ensure accuracy in payments while supporting process improvements across the function.

Qualifications

• End-to-end AP experience required.
• Experience handling a high-volume ledger.
• Strong 3-way matching, reconciliations, GRNI.
• Experience with ERP implementations or data cleansing projects is advantageous.
• AAT qualification or part-qualified CIMA/ACCA desirable but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Take full ownership of Accounts Payable and cost ledger; ensure invoices and costs are processed accurately and promptly.
• Maintain a clean creditors ledger and manage high-volume invoice processing.
• 3-way matching of purchase orders, receipts and invoices; resolve discrepancies.
• Main escalation point for supplier queries and issues.
• Prepare supplier payment runs in line with cash flow.
• Support ERP transformation and data cleansing activities.
• Collaborate with finance, operational and purchasing teams to capture costs accurately.
