Christopher Brian Recruitment Limited is partnering with a well-established Brighton-based accountancy practice to hire an ambitious Accounts Manager. You will manage a varied client portfolio, oversee accounts work and VAT, and build strong client relationships while supporting the Partners.

This long-term role offers a genuine pathway towards Partnership and ownership, with hybrid working and flexible hours to balance client service with development of the firm and your own advisory experience.

Qualificações

• ACA/ACCA or QBE qualification in UK practice.
• Experience managing a portfolio and client relationships.
• Confidence delivering advisory and statutory accounting services.

Responsabilidades

• Managing client relationships and acting as a key point of contact.
• Reviewing statutory accounts under FRS 102, FRS 102 1A and FRS 105.
• Reviewing corporation tax returns, management accounts and VAT work.
• Providing proactive accounting and business advice to clients.
• Managing workflow, deadlines and budgets.
• Reviewing work completed by Seniors and Semi-Seniors.
• Coaching and developing junior members of the team.
• Supporting the Partners with complex client and advisory work.
• Gradually becoming involved in wider management and development of the practice.
