Job summary

ProTalent in Brighton seeks an Accounts Manager to run a diverse client portfolio and lead the accounts team in a small, partner-led practice.

You will review accounts and tax work, act as the main client touchpoint, and coach seniors and trainees while identifying advisory opportunities.

The role offers long-standing clients across property, construction, retail, legal and healthcare, with a modern, Xero-focused environment.

Qualifications

• ACA or ACCA qualification or equivalent experience in UK practice.
• Experience reviewing accounts, management accounts and CT work for owner-managed clients.
• Strong interpersonal skills with ability to mentor juniors and develop client relationships.

Responsibilities

• Manage your own portfolio of owner-managed business clients.
• Review accounts, management accounts and corporation tax work prepared by the team.
• Be the main point of contact for your clients and spot advisory opportunities.
• Get involved in charity, trust and service charge accounts.
• Coach and develop seniors and trainees, including those studying.
