Job summary

Pertemps Southampton is recruiting an Accounts Manager in Southampton to oversee day-to-day finance operations and maintain robust business accounts. The role is hands-on and requires a strong understanding of accounts processes and accurate record-keeping.

The ideal candidate will be AAT qualified with experience in Sage, Excel, and independent workload management. Working hours are from 8:00 to 16:30 with a Friday finish, and 25 days of annual leave plus bank holidays are offered.

Qualifications

• AAT qualification is essential for the role.
• Experience in accounts and strong understanding of business accounts fundamentals.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.

Responsibilities

• Posting purchase and sales invoices using Sage.
• Raising sales invoices accurately and in a timely manner.
• Completing bank reconciliations.
• Maintaining accurate business accounts and financial records.
• Supporting general accounts administration and reporting.
• Ensuring accuracy and compliance across financial processes.
