Finance Manager

Pertemps are currently recruiting for an experienced Finance Manager to join an established engineering company in the heart of Southampton. This is a hands-on position suited to someone with a strong understanding of business accounts and day-to-day finance operations.

Key Responsibilities as a Finance Manager:

• Posting purchase and sales invoices using Sage
• Raising sales invoices accurately and in a timely manner
• Completing bank reconciliations
• Maintaining accurate business accounts and financial records
• Supporting general accounts administration and reporting
• Ensuring accuracy and compliance across financial processes

Requirements

• AAT qualified (essential)
• Previous experience in an accounts role
• Strong understanding of business accounts fundamentals
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
• Experience using Sage accounting software
• High attention to detail and strong organisational skills
• Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively

The Finance Manager role:

• £35,000 - £42,000 depending on experience
• Monday - Thursday 8am - 4.30pm, Friday 8am - 1.30pm
• 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays
