Job summary

MTrec Commercial is representing an experienced Accounts & Billing Assistant to join their finance team on a permanent basis. The role involves supporting the Financial Controller, management board, and wider finance team by delivering high-quality billing support and providing management information and analysis to a broad range of internal users.

The ideal candidate will be highly organised, comfortable with Excel, and possess basic accounting knowledge.

Qualifications

• Experience using Excel and basic accounting knowledge.
• Highly organised and motivated with attention to detail.
• Able to manage a busy workload and work as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Check billing instructions for compliance.
• Generate client invoices and apply payments.
• Create billing reports for management decisions.
• Record supplier invoices into the purchase ledger.
• Reconcile control accounts and assist credit control.
• Produce monthly management accounts reports including billing data.
• Provide key data to fee earners for client relationships.
• Perform daily invoice generation and submission to clients.
