Clark Wood are recruiting for an Audit Senior to join a leading firm of Chartered Accountants in Middlesbrough.

This role would suit an ACA / ACCA qualified Audit Senior with previous UK accountancy practice experience and a strong background in statutory audit.

The Role

• Managing statutory audit assignments from planning through to completion
• Leading audit fieldwork and supervising junior staff
• Working with OMBs, SMEs and corporate clients
• Acting as a key client contact and resolving audit queries
• Reviewing junior work and providing support
• Ensuring audits are completed accurately and on time
• Travelling to client sites across the North East and Yorkshire where required

The Person

• ACA / ACCA qualified
• Previous audit experience within accountancy practice
• Experience auditing OMB and SME clients
• Strong technical audit knowledge
• Confident managing assignments independently
• Strong client communication skills
