Clark Wood are recruiting for an Accounts & Audit Senior to join a respected independent firm of Chartered Accountants in Penrith. The role offers a diverse mix of Accounts and Audit work with 80% Accounts and 20% Audit, and a salary of £32,000 - £42,000 with study support and excellent benefits.

The ideal candidate is ACA/ACCA part-qualified or fully qualified, with accountancy practice experience, strong UK accounting standards knowledge, and good communication and organisational skills.

Clark Wood are recruiting for an Accounts & Audit Senior to join a respected independent firm of Chartered Accountants in Penrith.
This role would suit an Accounts Senior, Audit Senior or Accounts & Audit Semi Senior who is ACA / ACCA part-qualified or qualified and looking for a varied practice role.
The Role

• 80% Accounts / 20% Audit
• Preparing statutory accounts for limited companies, partnerships and sole traders
• Preparing corporation tax computations
• Assisting with audit assignments from planning through to completion
• Managing client relationships and acting as a key contact
• Reviewing work completed by junior team members
• Working closely with Managers and Partners

The Person

• ACA / ACCA qualified or part-qualified
• Previous accountancy practice experience
• Strong accounts preparation and UK accounting standards knowledge
• Some audit experience advantageous but not essential
