Qualifications

• ACA/ACCA qualified or strong qualified-by-experience candidates considered.
• Experience managing audit assignments and client relationships.
• UK accountancy practice background preferred.

Responsibilities

• Managing a portfolio of audit assignments from planning through to completion.
• Take overall responsibility for the delivery of audit work.
• Managing client relationships and acting as a key point of contact.
• Reviewing audit and accounts work completed by junior team members.
• Mentoring and developing members of the wider team.
• Planning workloads and ensuring deadlines are met.
• Resolving technical issues during the audit process.
• Liaising with clients and providing practical advice.
• Collaborating with Partners on complex assignments.
• Supporting general practice work as required and seeking service improvements.

Role: Audit Manager

Location: Leeds

Salary: Up to 60,000 depending on experience

This is an excellent opportunity to join an established and growing accountancy practice in Leeds as an Audit Manager, taking responsibility for a varied portfolio of clients across audit and accounts.

The role would suit an experienced Audit Manager who enjoys a hands-on, client-facing position and is confident managing assignments, client relationships and junior team members. You'll have the opportunity to work with a broad range of businesses, take ownership of your portfolio and play an important role in the continued development of the practice.
