Job summary

Clark Wood Limited in Northallerton is recruiting for an Accounts & Audit Manager to lead a portfolio of audit and accounts clients. The role involves planning and reviewing statutory audits, preparing statutory accounts under UK GAAP, and reviewing corporation tax computations with the team.

You will act as a key client contact, manage deadlines and budgets, and mentor junior staff while collaborating with Partners on client management and business development.

Qualifications

• ACA or ACCA qualified.
• Strong client management and communication skills.
• Experience supervising and developing junior staff.

Responsibilities

• Managing a portfolio of audit and accounts clients.
• Planning and reviewing statutory audits.
• Preparing and reviewing statutory accounts under UK GAAP.
• Reviewing corporation tax computations.
• Acting as a key client contact.
• Managing deadlines, budgets and workflow.
• Reviewing work completed by Seniors and trainees.
• Supporting and mentoring junior staff.
• Working with Partners on client management and business development.
