Job summary

Clark Wood Limited in Northallerton is recruiting for an Accounts & Audit Manager to lead a portfolio of audit and accounts clients. The role involves planning and reviewing statutory audits, preparing statutory accounts under UK GAAP, and reviewing corporation tax computations with the team.

You will act as a key client contact, manage deadlines and budgets, and mentor junior staff while collaborating with Partners on client management and business development.

Qualifications

• ACA or ACCA qualified.
• Strong client management and communication skills.

Clark Wood are recruiting for an Accounts & Audit Manager to join an established independent firm of Chartered Accountants in Northallerton.

The role would suit an Audit Manager, Accounts Manager, Client Manager or Senior Audit & Accounts professional who is ACA/ACCA qualified and looking for a varied role with strong client exposure.

The Role

• Managing a portfolio of audit and accounts clients
• Planning and reviewing statutory audits
• Preparing and reviewing statutory accounts under UK GAAP
• Reviewing corporation tax computations
• Acting as a key client contact
• Managing deadlines, budgets and workflow
• Reviewing work completed by Seniors and trainees

About You

• ACA or ACCA qualified
• Previous UK accountancy practice experience
